It's difficult to know what to say as I keep writing my entry after Matt....i'll get there first next time!!
Sadly Matt has been sick while we've been staying at the most beautiful hotel. It was set in the Colca Valley in the middle of nowhere. I opened the curtains and all I could see was mountains...or Matt sleeping!
The Colca Canyon was really spectacular. The Condors with 3m wing span were pretty amazing. We weren't quite sure what we were looking for but there was no mistaking them when they appeared.....huge!
I went on a short hike (sadly it was Matt-less) but I saw a really beautiful woman with her little baby and pet alpaca. (picture attached)
Fingers crossed the next time I write I won't be suffering from altitude sickness!!
Hope all is well

Matt, you really gotta let sueann write first, its the gentlemanny thing to do... i dont think gentlemanny is a word.
Cure for altitude sickness by Jase: lie down on the ground, the slight height reduction releases presure on the brain juices allowing for free flowing synaptic pathways. Therefore you can let sueann use the computer first.
Gentlemanny, should be a word.
Travels look ace! Sand boarding looks especially ace!!! And youre getting some amazing photos too, make sure you take millions and keep on posting, great reading.
Hope youre feeling better matt, happy journey :)
Hello
Yes, Gentlemanny should be a word.
Amazing pics! You're doing so much stuff! Very exciting! We almost bought some Machu Picchu ground coffee in tribute to you guys yesterday, but it was really strong on the coffee richter scale so got something a bit softer!
We're pretty busy already - planted trees yesterday in our garden! Just small ones so hopefully they won't go mental!
Off to glasgow later on for a spot of shopping! ahh! It's a hard life!
Missing you loads! Massive hugs and hope the sickness goes away - it is downright horrible! I had all those symptoms too. But we stupidly raced up and down in about 24 hours - at least you're taking it slow!
Take care guys!
